It doesn't vibrate back and forth as most other saws do. The quick change blade system is really easy to use. Just lift up the lever, and switch blades. I've only had it for a couple of months, but it effortlessly cut through concrete nails, steel, galvanized steel, cedar 4x4 posts... I've had to take mine apart half a dozen times now and put the parts back in the slots they belong in!! Mostly where the fork fits into a small hole! I don't like how the shoe falls out so easily from the unit; the first time I'm on the peak of a roof and that happens, I'm going to be really upset! The quick release doesn't have a positive feel even when the unit is new. Making sure it's latched when wearing gloves is iffy at best. Finally, and the worst bugaboo, is that the saw doesn't even move when the speed control is at 1 or below. At 1.5 it sorta kinda moves. So a good chunk of that adjustment space is useless.I think I'll return this one and buy a Sawzall.See all 8 customer reviews...
